Would you go up a mountain or into the wilderness without a map?

I know how you're feeling

You are meant for more. You want to grow. You add significant value to your organization. But you are not sure what the best way to get there is. You have the will and the wits. You can eventually get there. But wouldn’t you love a shortcut?

Imagine you suddenly appear in the middle of the Amazon. No map. You don’t know where you are. You just want to get home- as fast as possible. You might find your way- eventually. But it would take a while, and it would be a long, arduous journey (quicksand, bugs, ravines, and all sorts of distractions…)

What if you ran into someone with a map? Who knows the terrain, and can help you get there faster than on your own? You would you want to get their help, wouldn't you? By using this knowledge, you would be able to focus more energy on the important things (instead of on where not to step, making sure you’re not walking in circles, etc.) and burning out!

I have the map. I have been there. I got stuck in the quicksand, cut my hands, tripped in the mud, got bitten by the bugs.

I can help you.

It could be getting promoted one or more levels up. It could be getting to the C-Suite. It could also have nothing to do with promotions, but with achieving personal growth and improvement as a leader in your organization.

I grew from nothing to global CFO at Fortune 500 companies. I made tons of mistakes along the way. Looking back, I believe I could have done it faster- if only there would have been someone by my side to help me focus, strategize, and avoid the stumbles.

Regardless of your area of specialty, there is a lot I can share from my decades of experience getting to one of the most senior levels in any organization. The mistakes I made. Communicating with upper management. Setting objectives and establishing accountability in your team and with your peers. Growing along with them and becoming a talent factory. You will need this as you grow- let me share with you what I learned, and some surprisingly simple things even senior leaders miss!
